According to an official, the raids were prompted by information on the illegal sale of e-cigarettes. The first raid took place at Kokayaya Shivam Paan Corner in Sector 56, where authorities seized 21 banned e-cigarettes and 180 boxes of illicit foreign cigarettes. Shop operators Rano Singh and Shivam were arrested.
