The police have arrested three men in Badshahpur, Gurugram, who were allegedly planning a robbery near the Signature Global building on Fazilpur Road last night. The suspects were caught in possession of illegal weapons and stolen items, including a country-made pistol, a cartridge, six mobile phones, a motorcycle, a scooter, an auto rickshaw, a torch and an iron rod.

According to police sources, a raid was carried out by the Sector 39 crime unit after receiving a tip-off. The three accused were apprehended while they were preparing for the robbery.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Prakash (26) from Tekchand Nagar, Gurugram, Devender alias Deva (22) from Solana village in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh and Sumit alias Lala (29) from Badshahpur, Gurugram. The police said an FIR has been filed against them under relevant sections of the BNS at the Badshahpur police station.

The police said during questioning, the suspects admitted to being involved in nine thefts. Police records indicate Prakash has two previous theft cases and Devender alias Deva has four. Police officials said they are continuing to interrogate the accused to uncover further details of their criminal activities.
