The Gurugram police have apprehended three more suspects in connection with the kidnapping of an MBA final year student who demanded a ransom of Rs 25,000. Authorities recovered a van used in the crime and a mobile phone from the arrested individuals.

This follows the earlier arrest of one suspect, Shivraj, a resident of Badshahpur, who was caught attempting to collect the ransom from the victim’s friend. The police successfully rescued the student, but the other suspects managed to escape at that time; however, they were arrested today.

The newly arrested individuals have been identified as Deepak alias Virmi (24), Vikas, alias Ankit (24), and another Vikas (25), all residents of Bandhwari village.

“We are questioning the arrested individuals,” said Varun Dahiya, ACP Crime, regarding the ongoing investigation.
