In his complaint, Harish said he had a transport office in Rewari city. His vehicles and buses were used to transport staff for companies. On October 26, a young man along with three others carrying gun-like weapons came to his office in a Scorpio vehicle.

Harish alleged that the young man then threatened him, saying that his buses should not operate in the companies from the next day. If he wanted his buses to run, he would have to pay a monthly amount. He was warned of dire consequences if he failed to pay money every month. After this, all accused left the place in the vehicle.
