The district authorities have announced to terminate the services of three staff nurses of the Health Department. They had been found guilty of negligence in a matter of delivery of an unborn child in the Civil Hospital recently. They were issued a notice of termination of service from the department a few days ago. DC Vikram Singh said the order was issued on the basis of an inquiry report submitted by the office of the Civil Surgeon of the department. While the inept handling of the patient led to the miscarriage and death of the unborn, the patient also suffered injuries in her uterus.
