State Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Anil Vij today said the victory celebration of India’s win over Pakistan would be held with great enthusiasm through a Tiranga Yatra.

The yatra would begin from Government College, Ambala Cantonment, on May 18.

“As the Cantt is a military base, its residents are full of zeal and the yatra will include ex-servicemen and others, which will boost the morale of the soldiers,” said Vij.

Addressing a large gathering of people and BJP workers regarding the organisation of the yatra, he called upon people/workers to go door to door to distribute invitations, and also extend them to social, religious, educational and other institutions.

He said the yatras were being held in every city across the nation.

Government College teachers have been asked to ensure the presence of NSS, NCC and YRC volunteers and students for the yatra.
