Speaking on the occasion, minister Rana said, “The tricolour is not just a flag—it is a symbol of our nation’s pride, sacrifice and honour. The yatra reminds us of the sacrifices made by freedom fighters.” He praised the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, calling it a movement embraced by people across the country.

Highlighting India’s strength and self-reliance, Rana said, “India has shown during Operation Sindoor that we are a self-reliant nation that will never bow before anyone. Through the Tiranga Yatra, we aim to inspire patriotism so that the sacrifices of our martyrs are never forgotten.” He stressed that the journey would foster respect for martyrs and the national flag, while promoting harmony and brotherhood among people.

The minister emphasised that it is the duty of every citizen to honour freedom fighters and martyrs, who secured independence and defended the nation’s borders.
