Kulvinder Singh, Joint Commissioner of Police, Gurugram, and Pushpender Singh Rathore, DIG, BSF, won a gold medal in a golf event at the World Police and Fire Games 2022 which were held in Rotterdam from July 22 to 31.

The games are held every two years in which policemen and firemen from all over the world participate. More than 300 golfers participated in the event. Kulvinder Singh and Pushpender Singh Rathor won silver medals also. In the individual event, Pushpender Singh won two silver medals, while Kulvinder Singh got a bronze. The team consisting of retired IPS officer KK Sindhu and Dr Kashmir Singh also won a silver medal.

Police spokesperson Subhash Bokan said this was one of the highest medal tallies by Indian golfers in the games. The event was held over three days at three different courses in Rotterdam, namely, Cromstrijen Golf Club, Golfschol De Hooge and Kleiburg Golf Club.
