Meanwhile, a solar-powered hybrid traffic signal control system has been installed at Adbar Chowk for Rs 13.32 lakh. The installation is being carried out by the Urban Local Bodies Department.

“This smart signal system will not only save electricity but is also an important step towards environmental protection. Adbar Chowk and Palwal T-point are busy intersections in the district and this system will contribute greatly to traffic ease and safety here,” said DC Meena.
