In Sirsa, a tractor-trailer heavily loaded with chaff (husk from rice) has been blocking the road next to the Civil Lines Police Station in Sector 19 for over a month. The obstruction is causing difficulty for locals and there is a growing risk of accidents, especially during the foggy season. Despite repeated complaints to the local and police authorities, the trailer has not been removed.

A resident, advocate Baljeet Singh, said the trailer was standing on the major road which leads to the city, for more than a month. He informed local officials multiple times, but no action was taken. He expressed concern that the trailer was blocking the way, increasing the risk of accidents in the dense fog.

SHO Jitendra Kumar from Civil Lines police station said the trailer was impounded for traffic rule violations. However, due to space limitations at the station, it could not be parked there. The owner has been asked to take ‘superdari’ of the trailer, and if not removed soon, it would be moved to an appropriate location.
