The event began with lighting of a ceremonial lamp and Ganesh Vandana. The event, being organised by the Directorate of Youth Welfare, aims to preserve and promote Indian culture while nurturing the artistic talents of students.

Chief guest Prof Deepti Dharmani, Vice-Chancellor of Chaudhary Bansi Lal University, Bhiwani, inaugurated the festival. She emphasised the role of youth festivals in showcasing cultural diversity and fostering spiritual and artistic growth. Extending her wishes on Prakash Utsav, she encouraged students to follow Guru Nanak Dev Ji's teachings and stay rooted in their heritage.

Prof Ajmer Singh Malik highlighted that such events build confidence and cultural awareness. He also urged students to stay away from drugs and lead a healthy life.

Students from affiliated colleges capitvated the audience with Punjabi, Haryanvi, and Rajasthani folk dances, reflecting India’s rich cultural tapestry. Prof Suresh Kumar Gehlawat, Dr Rajesh Kumar Bansal, and cultural coordinators, also attended the event. The festival provided a platform for students to shine creatively while celebrating the essence of Indian culture.
