Gurugram: The police have arrested two persons for embezzling Rs 8 lakhs on the pretext of providing jobs in the Indian merchant navy. The suspects were identified as Ishwar, a resident of Narhad village, and Virender, a resident of Jhunjhunu in Rajasthan. OC

Gurugram: The police have arrested a native of Uttar Pradesh for drug peddling and recovered 7.540-kg marijuana from his possession. The suspect has been identified as Monu, a resident of Hardoi in Uttar Pradesh. An FIR has been registered against him. OC

Three arrested for vehicle theft, snatching

Gurugram: The police have arrested three persons for their involvement in vehicle theft and snatching. Four bikes, one scooter and seven stolen mobile phones have been recovered from them. The suspects were identified as Pankaj, Ankush and Alok. Pankaj was arrested near the IFFCO Chowk underpass while Ankush and Alok were arrested in the Wazirabad area.
