Two arrested for stealing electricity wires from farmers' tubewells

The accused have been identified as Saurabh from Taruwala village and Rohit from Baloli village.
Chamkaur Singh, a police spokesperson, confirmed a case had been registered against the accused. He added that they were produced before a court on Saturday and sent to judicial custody.
“Under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Kamaldeep Goyal, the district police are intensifying efforts to target criminals and anti-social elements,” said Chamkaur Singh.
Anil Kumar, in-charge of the Special Cell, said his team received information about two suspicious individuals near Sherpur village. Based on this tip-off, the team reached the location and apprehended the accused near Sherpur village. “Saurabh and Rohit had stolen electricity wires from a farmer’s tubewell in the Taruwala area,” said Anil Kumar .— TNS
