Those arrested were identified as Garvit and Shivam of Kurukshetra. They were arrested on Tuesday and produced in a court on Wednesday, which sent Garvit to jail and remanded Shivam in four-day police custody.

CIA-2 incharge Parteek said, “On January 19, the suspects opened fire at Subhash and his wife Suman over an old enmity. Garvit is the mastermind and his mobile has been seized. Garvit was not present at the crime spot. Shivam was among those who fired bullets.”

A case was registered against five persons on the complaint of Suman at the Thanesar (Sadar) police station.
