A widow from Delhi was allegedly gang-raped by two men in Gurugram, whom she had befriended on Instagram. An FIR has been registered at Sector 29 police station, and a probe is underway.

According to the complaint, the woman stated that around 25 days ago, she became friends with Gajendra and Vikas through Instagram. "During our conversations, both of them were polite and I started trusting them. After my husband's death due to Coronavirus, I began sharing my problems with them," she said in her complaint.

She alleged that the accused exploited her trust, lured her to Gurugram and raped her. A senior police officer stated, “A probe is underway and the accused will be arrested soon.”
