The police have registered a case against two persons on charge of cheating and under Immigration Act.

On the complaint of Ravinder Singh of Mirzapur village, a case was registered against Hari Singh and Anil Kamboj under Sections 10/24 of Immigration Act and Sections 318 (4) of the BNS and 120-B, 406 and 420 of the IPC at the Radaur police station.

The complainant told the police that his son wanted to go abroad for a job after completing his study in 2023.

He said they came to know that Hari Singh and Anil Kamboj worked to send people abroad.“My son and I met Hari Singh and Anil Kamboj, who told us that they sent people abroad and provided them jobs there,” the complainant told the police.

He said that they demanded Rs 13 lakh to send his son to Spain.He further said they gave them Rs 13.02 lakh in different installments, passport and other documents.

“Instead of sending my son to Spain, they sent him to another country. I called my son back to India. The accused are now not returning their money,” alleged the complainant.
