Two Class XII students killed in road accident

Karnal: Two students were killed and one injured when a truck hit their bike near Kathlehri village on Saturday evening. They were returning after completion of the Class XII exams. The deceased, Arvind and Rajesh, were residents of Uplana village. Amarjeet Singh is undergoing treatment at a private hospital. The police have booked the truck driver. TNS

Labourer dead, 4 hurt in tractor-truck collision

Jhajjar: Labourer Imtiyaaz (21) of UP was killed and four others injured in a collision between tractor-trailer and truck on Jhajjar-Sampla Road near Girawar village here on Sunday. The injured are Noor Hasan, Aash Mohammad, Shakeer and Noor Mohammad. They have been admitted to the Civil Hospital in a critical condition. TNS

Husband, in-laws booked for Y’nagar woman’s rape

Yamunanagar: A woman (20) was allegedly raped by her brother-in-law here. A case was registered against her brother-in-law Anil, husband Nadeem, mother-in-law Shahzahan and sister-in-law Kuresha. The victim said Anil’s wife didn’t have a child, so her husband, mother-in-law and another sister-in-law had been forcing her to have sexual relationship with Anil to give birth to his child. TNS
