The court of Additional Sessions Judge Sunil Kumar Dewan sentenced two drug peddlers, including a woman, to 10 years of imprisonment. They were caught with illegal drugs. The court has also imposed a fine of Rs 1 lakh on each convict. The two were arrested with 64.380 kg of illegal marijuana from near the Old Toll Plaza, Bilaspur, on June 25, 2020. They were identified as Mohammed Zaheer and Alka, residents of Trilokpuri in Delhi. An FIR was registered against the accused and they were sent to jail by a city court.
