The court of Additional Sessions Judge Sunil Kumar Diwan on Friday sentenced two persons to 10 years of imprisonment and imposed fines on them.

The accused were identified as Pawan, a resident of Sheetla Colony in Gurugram, and Dinesh, a resident of Bulandshahar district in UP.

According to the police, two men snatched a mobile phone from a person on August 24, 2021, near the Google building, located on the Delhi-Gurugram expressway. The accused were in an autorickshaw and when the victim got into the vehicle to get his mobile phone, the accused pushed him and ran the vehicle over his legs and fled the spot. Following the complaint, an FIR was registered in this regard.

“Additional Session Judge Diwan on Friday sentenced both the accused to 10 years of imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs 35,000 each,” said a spokesperson of the Gurugram police.
