Two held for vehicle theft, 7 stolen motorcycles recovered

Accused produced before court on Tuesday, sent to judicial custody

A team of anti-vehicle theft cell has arrested two persons and recovered seven stolen motorcycles from their possession.

The accused have been identified as Anshu and Yogesh, both belong to Shambhu Colony in Yamunanagar.

Sumit Kumar, incharge of anti-vehicle theft cell said Kaushal Pal of Vishwakarma Mohalla got an FIR registered alleging that his motorcycle was stolen on October 22, 2024.

He said after the registration of the FIR he formed a team and on a tip-off the said team arrested two persons from near the City Centre, Yamunanagar.

He said the team recovered seven stolen motorcycles from their possession.

He added that the accused were produced before a court on Tuesday and were sent to judicial custody.
