The district administration authorities today razed two illegal colonies being developed in about 28 acres in Samar Gopalpur and Sundarpur villages here. Two structures, eight DPCs and road network interlock tiles were demolished.
ADC Narendra Kumar said the action was taken under a special campaign being carried out by the district administration to demolish constructions/colonies being developed illegally in controlled and urban areas of the district.

He has appealed to people not to invest the savings of their lives in unauthorised colonies being developed by dealers. “Residents can contact the District Town Planner Office to inquire before investing their capital in buying land,” the ADC added.
