ADC Narendra Kumar said the action was taken under a special campaign being carried out by the district administration to demolish constructions/colonies being developed illegally in controlled and urban areas of the district.

He has appealed to people not to invest the savings of their lives in unauthorised colonies being developed by dealers. “Residents can contact the District Town Planner Office to inquire before investing their capital in buying land,” the ADC added.
