Two jail inmates, who were facing criminal cases in separate cases of attempt to murder, fled after assaulting policemen when they were brought to the Civil Hospital in Sirsa.

The police said a head constable was injured in the incident, which was captured in the CCTV camera. The Sirsa police said a criminal case had been registered against Sonu of Kutand Kala Singh.
