Rohtak, July 18

Two workers were killed and another was injured in a gas pipeline explosion at a manufacturing unit located in Rohtak IMT today.

The injured workers were rushed to the local PGIMS, but two of them could not be saved. The deceased workers were identified as Bijender and Ramesh. Another worker Sachidanand, who was injured in the blast, was undergoing treatment till the time of the filing of this report.

The police have registered a case in this regard. Enraged over the incident, fellow workers of the deceased and injured staged a protest demonstration in front of the factory. Family members of a deceased worker alleged that timely medical care was not provided to the injured workers.
