Two killed in road mishap in Samalkha

Two persons were killed in an accident on the Biholi road in Samalkha on Sunday night.

The deceased were identified as Dilbagh and Manjeet in Samalkha.

In his complaint, Dilbagh’s uncle, Sanjay, said his nephew and his friend, Manjeet, had gone for some work on their two-wheeler when the accident took place. His neighbour informed him about the accident. After receiving information, he immediately reached the spot and took them to the civil hospital, where the doctors declared them dead. He said their two-wheeler was hit by an unknown vehicle, following which they died on the spot.

The police have registered a case against an unidentified vehicle driver and begun a probe into the matter.
