Two middle-aged men were killed in a road accident on National Highway No.9 near Kharawar village in Rohtak district on Tuesday.

The deceased have been identified as Ramdiya and Ramniwas of Karor village in Rohtak district. The mishap took place as their motorcycle collided with a car on the highway.

The car crossed over to the other side of the road as the driver lost control after the collision. A truck coming from the opposite direction also overturned as the truck-driver tried to prevent a collision with the car.

The police have registered a case and sent the bodies for post-mortem examination.
