Two persons were arrested in an alleged case of burglary on Thursday night. The police have recovered stolen items, including a mobile phone and Rs 1,000, from them.

The suspects, identified as Suraj and Tinku, were arrested near the Bastara bridge.

They confessed that they had entered the house of Sanjeev in Kalram and decamped with a mobile phone and cash on the intervening night of November 13 and 14.

The police had already registered a case. They have been sent to judicial custody, the police said.
