Two sharpshooters of the Bambiha gang arrested in Gurugram encounter

Both were injured during the fire exchange and were admitted to the hospital.
According to the police, the crime unit teams of Sector 39 received information at around 2 AM that two sharp shooters were roaming in the area of Sector 63. After this, the police team put barricades near Ramgarh village.
As soon as the police saw them and signalled them to stop, they opened fire at them.
Meanwhile, during the exchange of fire, both criminals were shot in their legs, after which they were taken into custody.
According to the police, the accused has been identified as Sukhanjeet alias Ganja (24) and Sumit Sharma (25), natives of Punjab. Police have recovered two country made pistols and two cartridges from their possession.
“Both criminals are residents of Amritsar in Punjab. They fired seven rounds at the police team, while the police returned four rounds in self-defence. The accused are currently undergoing treatment. They will be arrested and questioned after being discharged from the hospital”, said the spokesperson of Gurugram police.
