Rohtak, February 27

Two youths were shot dead and as many injured in a firing incident at Nindana village in Rohtak on Saturday.

Some rivalry is stated to be the reason behind the incident that led to the shootout. The police have registered a case and the injured were admitted to a hospital. As per police sources and eyewitnesses, five youths were sitting on the roof of an abandoned house located on Nindana-Gugahedi road this afternoon. Some youths arrived at the spot by a car and started firing at the five youths.

Two youths were killed, while two were injured in the incident. One of the youths escaped unhurt. The deceased have been identified as Ankush of Farmana village and Vikas of Nindana village. Both were in the age group of 18-20 years.

The police said two of the assailants had been identified and all accused would be arrested soon.
