The Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (UHBVN) has made the process of getting new electricity connection easier. Now, there is no need to give a test report from a licensed contractor or a self-certified document for power connections up to 50 kW. Earlier, the load cap was 20 kW. While applying online, it has to be mentioned that a licensed electrical contractor or a designated government officer has tested the internal wiring of a premises and that the test certificate is available with the applicant.
