Members of the Consumer Grievances Redressal Forum (CGRF) of the Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam will make extensive visits to the districts all through January to hear out the grievances of consumers and to entertain new complaints.

The CGRF shall take up all grievances and complaints related to billing problems, voltage, metering, disconnection and reconnection of power supply, interruptions, failure of power supply, efficiency, safety, reliability and non-compliance of Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission orders.

However, cases of theft and unauthorised use of electricity, offences and penalties as specified under sections 126 and 135-139 of the Electricity Act and accidents and inquiries as under Section 161 would not be considered by the forum.
