Protest successful

  • Rohtak: The Haryana unit of the Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) has claimed that there was a resounding response from all sections of society to protest against Agnipath scheme.
  • “Apart from activists of the SKM, ex-servicemen, Army aspirants, retired employees and students’ organisations also joined the protests from across the state,” said SKM leader Inderjit Singh

Farmer leaders blamed the Union Government for playing with the aspirations of the unemployed youths and said the scheme would be a threat to the national security.

BKU (Mann) state president Rattan Mann said this scheme should be rolled back as there was widespread anger and unrest amongst the youths.
