Sharma directed ULB officials to settle the pending property tax as soon as possible. She said all ULBs should settle the pending files on the official web-portal on time and ensure that the applicants correctly enter the documents.

She said all ULBs should set targets for the recovery of property tax arrears. She asked all ULBs to achieve the target within the stipulated time-frame. She also asked officials to settle the pending cases under the ownership scheme as soon as possible and not keep any case of conveyance deed pending for those owners who have paid 100 per cent of the dues.

The District Municipal Commissioner asked the officials to get the public places in their respective areas cleaned, with special attention to public toilets, parks, markets, bus stands, squares, intersections and bus queue shelters. She said people should be made aware that they should not spread filth on the roads and should segregate their waste.
