Farm activists burnt the effigies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal and other BJP leaders on the occasion of Dasehra in Ambala and Kurukshetra.

In Kurukshetra, farmers burnt the effigies near Umri village, Ambedkar Chowk Ladwa, Sunaria Chowk Babain, old grain market Pehowa, Isamailabad and Shahabad. In Ambala, farmers burnt effigies at Lakhnaur Sahib village.

Farm activists raised slogans against the BJP leaders and said that they had burnt the effigies of the leaders instead of Ravana.
