Vice-President Dhankhar in Sirsa tomorrow

The Vice-President of India, Jagdeep Dhankhar, is set to visit Sirsa on March 5. He will attend the convocation ceremony of Jan Nayak Choudhary Devi Lal Vidyapeeth (JCD). The Vice-President will inaugurate the museum at JCD, which has been constructed in the memory of the former Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala. Additionally, he will visit Mata Harki Devi College in Odhan village.

The district administration, Police Department and the JCD management have been preparing ahead of his visit.

The Vice-President will land at the Air Force Station via helicopter, and then travel by road to Odhan and later the JCD campus in Sirsa.

Dr Jai Parkash, director general, JCD Vidyapeeth, said the V-P will award degrees to 400 students from six colleges of the vidyapeeth.
