Congress candidate from Julana Assembly constituency and Olympic wrestler-turned-politician Vinesh Phogat was among the first to cast an early vote.

Phogat appealed to Haryana voters to cast their vote for the Congress.

Highlighting that Congress is the party that would work for women's rights and a change, she said: "Every vote counts and vote for change in Haryana elections”.

Vinesh Phogat also emphasised on the rampant drug addiction, unemployment and women's safety in Haryana. "Today is the day of change", she made a powerful appeal to Haryana voters before she went to cast her vote, adding that: "All the people of Haryana have their hopes tied to the Congress party. Every vote holds its power, and today is the day to use that power. Today is the day of change, and a day to awaken new hope, so I urge all the people of Haryana to come out of their homes and vote."
