Wrestler Vinesh Phogat reached her native Balali village in Charkhi Dadri district around midnight. She was so tired after the hectic journey that she fell asleep on the stage meant to honour her.

She was feeling exhausted as she reached the stage. Her condition had deteriorated due to the long travel she undertook sitting on the top of the vehicle.

She covered about 125 km from the IGI airport in Delhi to Balali village in about 13 hours. She was honoured at about 100 places en route to the village.
