The Nuh police have arrested a wanted criminal who was absconding from the last seven years.

The accused has been identified as Azad alias Kundu, a resident of village Bawla, Nuh. Kundu has 54 cases of robbery registered against him.

Cops also seized a country-made pistol from his possession. Sub-Inspector Mahendra Singh said around 54 cases had been registered against the accused and was declared proclaimed offender in seven cases.

“We received a tip-off that Kundu was standing at Tauru bus stand. Our team raided the spot and arrested the accused along with illegal weapon. We are questioning Kundu,” said the SI.
