Snakes , mongoose and monster lizard can be frequently seen in Sector 5 residential areas of Hansi town in Hisar district. Overgrown grass on vacant plots has become a breeding ground for such animals. Sometime snakes enter homes creating panic among residents. Children fear playing in parks. The Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran authorities are requested to clear overgrown grass adjacent to houses and in parks to reduce threat to lives from these wild animals.

Install barriers on underpass

Along the broader underpass of the railway crossing for vehicular traffic movement, a narrow underpass was constructed by the Railways so that pedestrians and two-wheelers drivers could safely commute from both sides of the town. But, gradually all types of vehicles like cars and tractors-trailers have started using the underpass putting the lives of pedestrians and two-wheeler riders at grave risk. The Railways should erect barriers on both sides of the underpass so that only two-wheelers and pedestrians could use the stretch for entry and exit.
