SEVERAL candidates contesting the upcoming Municipal Corporation elections have illegally put up banners on electricity poles and wires in Rohtak. This poses a great threat to commuters’ safety. Residents often face power disruptions due to such illegal practices. The Rohtak Municipal Corporation must take prompt legal action against the violators in the interest of the commuters.

Extend bus service to Palampur

THE route of the bus run by the Sonepat depot — which goes from the New Delhi ISBT to Sujanpur, Himachal Pradesh, in the morning — should be extended to Palampur via Khera and Panchrukhi. This will benefit the people of at least 15 panchayats as it will be easier for them to reach their destinations.
