Residents of Melwan Pana in Bohar village in Rohtak district are a harassed lot due to the accumulation of dirty water. The choking of the sewer line has led to the problem. The accumulated water not only emanates foul smell but has also become a breeding ground of mosquitoes. The authorities concerned have been requested to resolve the issue but to no avail.

Garbage being dumped on vacant plots

A number of people dump garbage on vacant plots, affecting sanitation in their areas. This problem is most prevalent on plots in HSVP sectors. There are many vacant plots in these sectors on which people throw garbage. The HSVP authorities should take steps to solve this problem.

More HR buses needed on Ambala-Yamunanagar route in evening

People have to face a lot of problems while going from Ambala to Yamunanagar late in the evening as there are very few buses on this route at that time. People have to take services of expensive private taxis to reach their destination. The Haryana Roadways (HR) authorities should pay attention to this problem of the passengers.
