Residents are angry over the prolonged delay in the construction of the railway overbridge (ROB) at Dinod Road Gate. It is a huge negligence and the agency and authorities concerned must be taken to task for the delay. The sewer line relocation, critical to the project, remains unfinished which are major hurdles in the completion of the project. People have been facing hardships for a long time. It is still doubtful if the ROB would be complete by March as has been promised. The administration should take strict action and expedite the construction to provide relief to residents.

Drain near JN Kapur Road stinks in Y’nagar

The corporation has not given due importance to another important road leading to JN Kapur DAV Dental College from Govindpuri Road. The JN Kapur Road adjoining DAV Girls High School also needs beautification. The air stinks as there is a big drain near the road which is not cleaned timely, which also leads to the breeding of mosquitoes. The students bear the brunt as they have to cross the flooded road near the drain during the rainy season. Besides the road has potholes, which hinder smooth traffic movement. The authorities should take remedial measures for lessening the sufferings of students and commuters, which would also supplement Divya Nagar Yojana.
