The incomplete work of a water supply drain on Jhajjar Kosli road, left unfinished by the Irrigation Department for over three months, poses a serious safety risk. Exposed iron rods threaten both stray animals and passing vehicles, increasing the likelihood of accidents. Additionally, a nearby dirty drain is incomplete, further contributing to the hazard. The Irrigation Department should complete the work promptly to prevent potential accidents. —Naveen Dahiya, Jhajjar

Traffic congestion a major bottleneck in Rohtak

Traffic congestion has become a major problem near the Radio Station, with vehicles parked on both sides of the road, especially during school hours. The situation is particularly bad on the road leading to Prem Nagar Chowk from Radio Station Chowk, where heavy traffic often comes to a standstill. One side of Prem Nagar Road, next to the Radio Station, is taken up by fruit and vegetable carts, while vehicles are parked by shopkeepers and visitors on the other side. This creates a bottleneck, making the road very narrow and prone to traffic jams. —Rajender Singh, Rohtak
