THE main road in Birbal Nagar, a thickly populated residential area, has been dug up to lay sewerage pipes by a contractor and is lying abandoned since more than two months, which is causing a lot of inconvenience to residents. The government should impose penalty on such contractors and engineers concerned for executing unsatisfactory and inferior work. Later, they claim invariable bills for bad job done and through political clout get orders.

Poor traffic conditions in Kurukshetra

Traffic coming from various sectors of Kurukshetra and going towards Pipli road and vice versa create mess at these junctions as there is neither any traffic light nor any traffic police personnel to regulate unruly traffic at those junctions. Sometimes, the traffic gets stuck at these points of the road due to vehicles coming from opposite direction.
