THE district administration has allotted a parking lot to a private contractor after which the pedestrian footpath has become a parking lot for two-wheelers in Panipat. Hundreds of people working in shops, banks and other offices parked their two-wheelers on the pedestrian footpath on NH-44 in the city. The authorities should make proper arrangements for the parking of two-wheelers.

Stray cattle on roads lead to accidents

A large number of stray cattle can be seen roaming on roads across the twin cities.
