Anumber of manholes in Kaithal are damaged and often remain uncovered, resulting in road mishaps. The material used to make the manhole covers is of substandard quality, due to which the covers are unable to bear the weight of vehicles and crack frequently. The senior officials should take note of it and see that the covers are made of good quality material.

Illegal openings on highways dangerous for commuters

Pedestrians as well as two-wheeler riders can be seen crossing the highways through illegal openings. The railings installed on the dividers are missing at several points, which causes hindrance to the flow of traffic and often leads to accidents. The NHAI should replace the railings to save precious lives.

No end to simian scare in Rohtak

Monkey menace has been prevailing in Rohtak city for years. However, the authorities concerned seem to be in a state of slumber. It is high time the local Municipal Corporation and district administration took note of it and took effective action.
