RESIDENTS of Ansal Town, Sector 20, Jagadhri, are forced to live in pathetic conditions. They are compelled to pay exorbitant maintenance charges, but no maintenance work has been done anywhere in the township. Roads are dotted with potholes and several manholes are left open. There are no proper streetlights. Stray dogs roam freely. A number of thefts have taken place here as there is no boundary wall and security cameras are dysfunctional. Repeated requests made by the residents have fallen on deaf ears. —NK Dhiman, Jagadhri
