Every time a new road is constructed, its level is increased by a few inches. Eventually, the level of road becomes higher than the houses and shops situated along it. Hence, rainwater enters the houses and shops, damaging these. The PWD authorities should take effective measures in this regard.

Waterlogging in Rohtak

EVeN after a brief spell of rain, water accumulates in parks, vacant plots and low-lying areas in the city. Stagnant water raises stink and provides breeding ground for mosquitoes. The authorities concerned should take action soon.
