In the recent rains, the potholed road of the Dhakal road locality, was filled with water, making it difficult for commuters to drive vehicles. Two-wheelers skidded off the road, while cars splashed muddy water on passers-by and shopkeepers. The business of shopkeepers on both sides of the road was affected. The administration should get the potholes filled on priority to avoid mishaps.

Reflectors must for vehicles during fog

With an aim to reducing road accidents, the reflector campaign, being jointly run by the Smile Foundation Society and Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Charitable Trust, continues in Bhiwani town. During the campaign, people have been encouraged to install reflectors on vehicles and follow traffic rules. It is very important for the vehicles to have reflectors during foggy conditions so that mishaps can be prevented. During the campaign, the target is to install reflectors on 20,000 vehicles.
