The construction of a railway overbridge (ROB) on Dablain Road here, which was progressing at a snail’s pace for the past more than six years, has finally picked up speed with efforts of Social Justice, Empowerment Minister Krishan Bedi. It appears that the ROB would be thrown open to the public within next three to four months. The ROB would provide the much-needed relief to commuters. The issue of the slow construction of the ROB was highlighted in the “What Our Readers Say” columns of the Haryana Tribune several times in the past, which probably made the authorities concerned to take action in this regard. The work and conduct of the MO is not upto the satisfaction of villagers. The MO has been misusing her position to harass villagers. Despite filing complaints against the MO, no action has taken by the authorities concerned in this regard.
