The slow pace of construction of roads in the Mughal Canal market area is causing inconvenience for to commuters and shop owners. The project began with the constriction of one road, but the progress is slow. Meanwhile, the second lane remains riddled with potholes, worsening the situation for commuters and shopkeepers. Authorities should expedite the construction work.

SPEED UP WORK OF RAILWAY OVERBRIDGE PROJECT

THE work on the rail-overbridge (ROB) on Dablain road here was started about six years ago with much fanfare with the assurance that it would be fully operational within 18 months. The work is still progressing at a snail's pace and it appears that it might take one more year to complete the project. The shopkeepers on both sides of the under-construction bridge have considerably lost their businesses, as it has virtually divided the city into two separate parts. The Railways and the contractor must speed up the work so that the project is completed soon. Ramesh Gupta, Narwana

Shift stray cattle to gaushalas

It is unfortunate, cows and oxen are roaming on the roads of Kaithal district, posing a significant challenge for commuters. Several accidents have occurred so far due to stray cattle.
